Interfaith Open House
November 22 - 23 , 2024
Join us for a celebration of faith!
Please join us for a two-day event recognizing and celebrating the religious diversity in our valley. During the open house, churches will open their doors for a one-hour block and welcome the public to learn about their beliefs through a fifteen-minute informal discussion.
At the end of the discussion, you may be invited to join in prayer or listen to a short message. Additionally, many churches may invite you to stay and enjoy musical performances and refreshments.
Please know that the participating churches will not be holding a worship service or trying to convert new members. They are simply welcoming the public to learn more. We ask that the public show courtesy and respect by refraining from sharing their beliefs unless asked.
During your fifteen-minute discussion, you can learn about:
The significance of traditional or ceremonial clothing
The meaning of special holidays, customs, or traditions
A typical worship service and how to participate
Church structure, terminology and appropriate titles for leaders
Basic doctrines and sacred texts
How religion supports families and the community

This interfaith open house was designed as a partnership between members of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and Cache Community Connections to educate the public about the importance of religious liberty and the value of religion in the community.
